Review «Memebox: Time on my lip [CR 02 WHOP CORAL]»

This is one more item I've had for a couple of months now and it is from MEMEBOX ^^
I've been a fan of memebox since the just launched their US site and I was very excited when I saw their own line ^^

As soon as I saw this product on their instagram I was like: "I need to buy it now!"
I looked very pretty on the picture, the first thing I thought was: "It looks like the girl has eaten some popsicle", that was what caught my attention and made me want to but this tint.

This lip tint comes in 2 shades:
PK01 Awesome Pink
CR02 Whop Coral

Back in October I was pretty much into orange lip tint shades and I wanted to but all my lip tints orange, which is why this color also caught my eye....

However, now I'm more into Coral shades, and I think this lip tint fits more into that Coral category (hence the name, whop coral)

The shade is very pretty and natural... The color is very buildable and can be wore in many different ways: From subtle, sweet and innocent looking coral lips to nice vibrant lips.

This lip tint and the face shop peach cushion blusher are basically the 2 items I enjoy using when I want an innocent make up look, as I describe it: "Sweet Tokyo Girl" kind of look.

The consistency is very unique, it's almost like Mamonde's lip tint...
It's not jelly, and it is not glossy... I don't know how to describe the texture of it.... I thinks it's a bit lighter than the usual liquid hand soap... ?
Does it make sense?
I'm very bad at describing textures ^^'

Something that has to be noted about this lip tint is the fact that it is slightly scented, however the scent doesn't last :)

As for lasting power, it is said by memebox that it last for around 12hours... It does last enough for me compared to other lip tints... however, after a heavy meal you do need to apply it... specially if you've applied it sheerly...

Overall, I really like this lip tint and would definitely repurchase... I only wish they had more colors available... I don't like pink on my lips so I wouldn't buy the pink one, hahaha... I wish they had a nice vampy looking red, haha :)

Thank you for reading guys!

Review «Innisfree: Eco fruit tint [1호 Cherry]»

Today I'm going to do a very quick review of one of Innisfree's lip tints I've had for sooo long now~~

I've had this lip tint for around 1 year now and didn't review it before, so before I run out of it, I decided to finally write about it ^^

The bottle is now so scratched because I always have this tint around me~~ ^^

Anyway !

This lip tint comes in 2 shades:
01. Cherry
02. Orange

The one I bought was the Cherry one, which has a natural looking pink color once applied to the lips!

The consistency of this lip tint is very liquidly which makes it a good stain for lips, however I found that liquid tints tend to fade faster than any other lip tints~~
Or maybe it is because I lick my lips A LOT!

Anyway, the color is very natural but buildable to a nice dark BAM! pink color :)
It is also not drying on the lips which is very good !

Review «The Face Shop: Lovely me:ex Pastel Cushion Blusher [05호 Peach Cushion]»

Hello everyone,
It's been a while since I've posted a review on this blog...

Last year it was kind of though for me emotionally which is why I didn't really posted stuff, even though I've wanted to keep this blog alive for so long... I really enjoy writing reviews and sharing the thing I like with all of you <3

Anyway, hopefuly this year everything gets better... Today is the 1st day of February, and with the start of this month and the couple of decisions I make this first 3 days will determine most of the year for me, it makes me very anxious and everything... But I'm trying to keep my spirit up and hope for the best.

 Anyway...
I wanted to review something since the very beginning of the year, but I was pretty sick almost all January so now, I can, finally, review something for you guys ^^

This is, I think the very first review of a blusher on this blog~~

I rarely wear blushers because I'm lazy, hahah... But I got this not so long ago and I found myself really liking it.
I got this Peach one which is very natural and very flattering on my skin !

This blush comes in 5 shades:
No.1 Rose Cushion
No.2 Coral Cushion
No.3 Plum Cushion
No.4 Pink Cushion

and the one I bought:

No. 05 Peach Cushion

The packaging is very cute and the applicator is very soft and nice, with a little ribbon to grab it with.
The only downside of the packaging is that the top lid? is a little bit loose, so if you are not careful it can open in your bag or so...

How cute is it?
The color is very pretty ^^ and natural looking.

The color is somewhat sheer, but you can adjust the intensity of it... However it will keep looking peachy and natural~

This is a swatch of the product, my camera luckily could capture the exact shade of this blusher !
It is very soft/pastel orange/coral shade which looks so good on yellow/warm skin tones.

I really love this blusher and use it whenever I want to create some sort of 'sweet tokyo girl' kind of look~

This became my favourite blusher so far and I would repurchase once I run out of this one :)

As for the future, I have some lip product reviews coming up... I've already took the pictures (which as always, end up looking dull and stuff, but I'm trying my best!).. So please wait for them ^^

Review «Clio: VF21 CC Cushion [Volume Face 21]»

Because I just started classes again I've been having a little bit of free time which means I can post things here, but still have work to do ;_;
Anyway, I've been really into CC Cushions for the past three months and I've been really into trying to find the one I like the most, which means: I've spent so much money on make up ;_;

CLIO's make up has always catched my attention, and It's a bit pricer than other most popular korean brands imo, but I decided to finally buy something from them and I got their CC Cushion...

At first I wanted to get the VF (Vampire Face) one but decided to try this instead since I already had a sample for the other one.

(I had to retake the pictures today so I apologize in advance because it is already used and stuff)

image

First of all the packaging is not bulky as any other cushion cases (like the one from Etude, haha), it is very handy and doesn't occupy lots of space.

Apart from that, it is like any other case, it comes with an inside lid to separate the product from the 'external part' aka 'mirror & sponge'.

It comes in 2 colors:

No.1 Pink
No. 2 Beige

Because I have yellow undertones I chose the No.2 Beige.

The color does have yellow undertones but it came to be a little light for me (I'm usually Natural Beige No.23) so I hope they could come out with Beige 01, Beige 02... and so on.

I found this cushion to be light to medium coverage, it did a good job at covering some of my spots and the redness around my nose, it also made my skin color even.

Now that I hink about it, I kind of like the tome it gave to my face, hahah. Can you see how I have a huge discoloration on the left side which seems odd cause you can see exactly where the two tones are divided?.

After applying the cushion it is not noticeable which is a huge thing!

Excuse my redness but I had just removed all my make up in order to apply this product and my skin is so sensitive that it turned red while cleansing with a tissue. ^^'

The formula is very friendly for people with dry face as well, it doesn't accentuate dryness but if you have dry patches use a moisturizer before hand.

As for the lasting power it is kind of average, it all depends on your skin and the weather. I live in a humid place so I have to re apply it after 3~4 hours.

Overall I think this was a good purchase and would actually buy it again, the only reason why I wouldn't is the color range, however this color would only suit me for winter so I would probably buy a refill, but I dont think it is a good color for summer.

This product retails around $18.50~$20 USD on ebay.

Thank you for reading ! :)

Review «Etude House: Dear Darling Tint»

Hello guys !
How are you doing?
Can you believe tomorrow it's March already?!
This year is going by super fast in the blink of an eye~~

Today I decided to review one more lip tint from Etude House, I had already reviewed the Dear Darling Tint in Vampire Red before, and since I got a new color, I will review it today....

The packaging is curvy just like most of Etude House's lip tints and glosses ^^

Again, this lip tint smells very nice just as the other one!
It smells like stawberries... I feel this is one of the most appealing this for me !!

So this one is the No.1 Berry Red (베리레드)

The name describes the color very well: berry red... it is a pinkish red, the exact same color of strawberries...

The consitency is jelly like which makes it nice to apply and it is very pigmented!
You can also build the color up for a bold look, but I prefer to use this for achieving a nice gradient effect !

Something I like about this lip tints is the fact that they don't make your lips dry and last a long time~~

And now, this is how it looks like on my lips !

Looks cute, right??

I really want to try the other 2 lip tints tbh.
I will be probably purchasing the orange one !! ^^

Thank you so much for reading and I'll talk to you guys on my next review!!
Don't forget to follow my blog if you like my reviews and leave me suggestions in the chat box!

Bye!

Review «Holika Holika: Puremellow skin Tuning Starter»

How are you guys doing?.
I've been a little bit sick lately, truth is I always get sick around this time of the year, I think this months are colder?.

I was feeling a bit guilty for not being able to review a new product, so I decided to review an item I got quite some time now, I remember I was really excited to get this product back then, I loved everything about it... name, colors, packaging, functionality, hahah ^^
So let me get started with the review :)

To me, the box is pretty, I think the diagonal pink stripes makes it look a bit like those very nice well packaged gifts (with gift wraping tape and bows)
Also, it makes it look kind of sugary-like, if that makes sense.
The color of the box is a beautiful metalic-like aqua color.

"3 in 1 multi primer with the functions of essence, boomer and brightener that displays externally soft and internally moist skin like marshmallow"

The thing why I was sooo wanting this product is because the content actually looked like marshmallow, I just thought it was super creative (I haven't seen any other marshmallow kind of make up) and it super yummy.

As for the product itself, when you press the pump, the three colors come out, and it doesn't look as pretty as the marshmallows which made me feel sad, but actually the kind of mix in the process of coming out... sometimes you will have more green than yellow and so... (I don't even think this is relevant, hahah)

The consistency is ver light which I liked, and it does brighten your face (kind of makes it look paler due to the green part canceling out the redness) if applied to the whole face, you can also mix it with foundation to have a dewy look or with moisturizer if your face is dry; you can also use it as a highlighter and apply it after base make up on the desired areas.

This product can be used in several different ways which is anther thing I liked about it, and works wonders as a brightener and primer.

This product is also easily absorbed by the skin and has a very nice subtle fragance, it smells very fresh (and floraly like) !

The only downside I personally found is the fact that this product broked me out... I could feel, as I use it, how my face was getting dry patches, and redness in my cheeks, so I stopped using this and let my face recover...

After 2 weeks/1 month I started to use it again and my face started to get dry once more, so I proved myself this was actually the product that caused my dryness...

There are so many god reviews out there about this in particular, and I was very happy to get this, but I just can't let my face to dry out just for the sake of a product.

I will add this product to luvocracy so you can actually buy it from there if you feel like trying it out!
Thank you guys for reading !

Review «The Saem: Saemmul Lip Crayon»

Hello ^^
Today I will review one more lip pruduct :D

I've been a little bit obsessed with The Saem's cosmetics lately so this is one of the first products from them I will review~

I was really, really excited to try this one out back in December, but it was sold out... but I finally got it because I just thought the color looked so pretty~

This is actually a lip tint/tinted balm which comes in 5 colors:

1. Get your Cherry Pink
2. Get your Coral Orange
3. Get your Eco Blue
4. Get your Sheer Lavander

And the one I got

4. Get your Burgundy Red

I'm sure we all know how GD (Kwon Ji Yong) oppa has been Tha Saem's face for some time... And pretty sure you have listened to GD's song CRAYON whcih goes like... "Get your crayon, get your crayon.... Get your cray-, get your crayon...."

I kind of think this is the reason why all the names start with the "Get your _______"
Anyway~

I really liked the color so much, I was expecting it to be a bit darker (like the color of the tube) but the color is pretty anyway^^
It glides super easy while applying it which is a +++
The finish is glossy but it tends to make lips dry with some time after application which is the bad side of it...

This is how it looks like on my lips on natural lightening ^^

So far, I've been enjoying this product so much even tho it dries the lips~~
I like the color and it has become on of my everyday lip products !!

Review «TonyMoly: Water Jelly Tint»

I had already written this review a while back on my last blog, but I decided to grab together all my reviews into only one blog so that's why I will repost most of my last reviews here...

The first review I will repost is from Tonymoly water jelly tint in both colors...

"This gel-based tint, without the sticky texture, can glide over your lips smoothly to keep your lips moisturized with a burst of color. Made from berry complex, raspberry, blueberry and cranberry extract formulas to keep you super hydrated all day."

the tint comes in a transparent plastic bottle, really light weight and easy to carry around.
The cap fits the bottle so well that you won't need to worry about the product leaking.

This is actually the first time for me to try any jelly-like lip product so I didn't know what to expect in matters of consistency, surprisingly I really liked it, it's really easy to blend and to build up the color and doesn't make my lips dry either.

The applicator brush is soft and kind of angled which makes it easy to apply to the lips and it's really good to achieve gradient effect :)

As for smell, it has a light fruity smell that I really enjoy, but it vanishes after the application.

The only thing I didn't like about this lip tint is that it has a bit of strong taste to it depending, I lick my lips constantly, so when I just apply the lip tint It tastes really strong, I don't like it.

It comes in 2 colors:

No.1 Pomegranate
No.2 Strawberry

The color of this lip tint is really pretty, you can also build the color up by applying more layers.

Now let's see the Strawberry one ^^

Thank you guys for reading !!
Bye, Bye

Review «Etude House: Dear Darling Tint»

As I probably have told you before, one of my favorite makeup items are Lip Tints !
I think I own more lip tints than any other makeup product... haha
So, Today's review will be one of my ultimate favorite lip tints so far from Etude House !!

I really, really wanted to get this lip tint for a while now... and I just don't know why I didn't get it earlier, haha

So, as any other etude house lip glosses/tints, it comes in a really nice looking tube (?).
I don't know, but I just feel that it look so pretty, unlike any other lip tint packagings which are plane straight... this is kind of curvy :)

This lip tint comes in 4 shades.

I have a thing for red-dark lips, I always wear dark lipstick/stain, so that's why I got this... This is the darkest shade, No.4 Vampire Red~... Hence the name.

#04 뱀파이어레드

The thing I fist noticed about this lip tint is how nice its smell is!, omg... I smells like berries, and to be honest with you, most of the time I find myself using it just because of the smell, hahaha...
The color is super gorgeous as well... It is indeed dark, but it isn't that much with just one layer...
Because I said I liked pretty dark lip colors, I apply up to 2 layers and it just looks awesome!
Also, this is pretty good for a gradient effect because its texture is jelly like and it's easy to apply, blend and adjust the desired color...

This applicator is a bit angled so it is easy to get the gradient effect~

Now... this is just one layer and as you can see, the color is very pigmented!

Also, I found this is not drying on my lips, which is a really good thing about it~

So far, this is one of my favore lip tints, and I just liked it so much I got a backup for it, haha~

So I hope you guys have enjoyed this review,
If you expect to read more reviews of korean cosmetics, please follow this blog ^^
I will be updating qite frecuently this month...

Hope you had a nice weekend!

Review «Etude House: Precious Mineral Any Cushion»

Hello everyone !
I hope you have been enjoying this first 10 days of the year...

I haven't been busy lately, so I've been feeling so in the mood to review things and stuff.

Also, I'm -So not patiently- wating for an order to come, It will be delivered next week I assume, so I hope you guys stay tuned for a collective/masive haul I made on December, because there're so many products I really want to share with you guys~~

For now... let's get started with this review!

This is actually, the first time for me to try out a Cushion Foundation, I know cushon has being a huge trend in korea for the past 4 months or so...

So I actually decided to give it a try and get this Foundation by Etude House !

The color I choose was W13: Natural Beige

Something I've been really liking lately is the fact that most products are now coming with more than SPF 40, this cushion is SPF 50+, PA++, and I think this is one of the products I have that has the highest SPF !

"The cushion foundation perfects all-day radiant and moist skin with its multi-function of brightening, wrinkle-reducing, sebum control, and flawless coverage"

The packaging is pretty simple yet it makes it look kind of classy.
It's plane white with the little silver detailings with Etude's 'E' and the brand name.
I really like the fact that it is a compact because it's easy to take it around with you everywhere.

I'm very sorry about the dirty sponge T_T
I thought I had taken this pictures already before using it but... no.

It comes with a sponge applicator, this sponge as any other ones that come with cushion type foundations are supposed to prevent the product from being soaked into the sponge as all the regular ones do.. So basically, the product stay on the surface of the sponge as you apply it to your face... Do I make sense?

As I said before, the color I choose was W13: Natural Beige, even though the color in the picture looks a bit darker... it is not that dark at all.
if you have tried Etude House BB Creams, this shades stay true as the ones in every single BB Cream so far.

The consistency of this foundation is light creamy... It is not liquidly even though it kind of seems like it, but it's not fully creamy at all... It is definitely lighter than the Etude House regular BB Creams.
You can also apply it with your fingers but imo it can a bit harder and uneven, so I would recommend using the sponge it comes with; also, its finish is slightly dewy and it feels slightly sticky as well... Just make sure to let it dry a little bit before applying your powder.

This foundation covered all my pimples and evened out my skin tone.
Sadly, you still can see my dark circles but they got minimized.
T_T
I have a serious case of hyperpigmentation on both sides of my face and I need to treat it, so if you guys now about any product that can help with it, please let me know...

Coverage wise, it has a medium coverage and you can built it up as much as you can without it looking cakey which is a +++
Also once it is fully absorbed it leaves your face really soft to touch !

I hope you guys have found this review useful, if you have any questions, feel free to ask me on ask fm at the left side of my blog as well as on Disqus !

See you soon with a new review :)

Review «The face shop: Smart capsule CC cream»

Hello guys...
It is pretty early in the morning here, and, since I was almost finishing my homework, I decided to take a couple of pictures and write a new review for you guys !! ^^

This product I'm going to review is actually the second CC Cream I try from The Face Shop...
You can read the review on the first one which is the "Aura Control CC Cream" on my last blog...

The thing I like the most about this CC Cream is the fact that it has SPF40, PA++!

I'm really sorry the lightening is soo poor here, but it's 1AM right now and that was the best  could get...

"Color control Cream that changes into a shade optimal to your skin tone as Smart Capsules in yellow, red and black are blended together"

Basically, the capsules combine and match your skin tone, I indeed noticed the little tiny capsules, for some reason, when I blend it, I can almost feel them... And I don't really like the feeling I get because it is as if they were scratching my face, idk ;_;

The packaging is really nice, I really like it... and it has a pump on top so the product comes out.
I think the packaging looks really simple but the silver detailing makes it look pretty.

The color of the CC Cream is white, with little beads inside of it...

The difference about this CC Cream and the ones that oxidize, is the fact that, if you leave this alone, it will remain the same white color unline the other BB Creams that start changing with time...
In order for it to adjunst to your face color you need to blend it lightly and then you will start noticing the new color it becomes :)

The consistency of this CC Cream is not really heavy, but it's creamy... and in my opinion, this is best to use with the fingers but I also found out that an sponge gives a nice, natural looking finish with more coverage.
It is also non sticky and has a semi-matte finish !

Now, let's see how it looks like:

As you can see, it did a pretty good job on covering my pimples, now they're less noticeable, and toned down the redness around my nose.
Sadly, the dark circles are still viseable, but not as much as before.

Also, you can see how it actually match my skin tone making it look natural, as if I was not wearing any product !

thank you for reading !!
Now, I leave you with a picture of my cat ^^
